It is often said that our childhood dream is the apt vision of our adulthood. When I was a child, I used to dream of becoming a businesswoman on growing up. I acquired my knowledge and required degrees from reputed institutes. Being an engineer and then an MBA, I always thought of starting-up. I dreamt of a start-up where I could help other start-ups grow and make their journey an enriching experience for them as well as for their target audiences. Exactly that is what I am doing since I completed my stint at an advertising agency in November 2015.
My venture is called Brandedgupshup and it started with my passion of writing. I was watching 'Share the Load Ad of Ariel' on television which inspired me to cover its story. The uniqueness of the campaign and the way it was being presented, enchanted me and thus, the birth of my venture. As I sat down to write my story on Ariel, I realized that if big brands like these have stories, small brands and aspiring ventures too must have stories which need to be told to the world out there. And then there was no looking back. From one story to another, I gathered myself to capture as many business stories as I could. My stories not only provide a platform to the respective ventures but are an inspiration to other ventures too. I talk about their successes, their failures, their motivations and other details with much finesse.
I soon expanded to other domains like Social Media Marketing, Graphics Designing, Website Development and Marketing Research. I always wanted a life of multiple start-ups and not just one. I want to live their journeys with them and be with them at each moment of their entrepreneurial life cycle.
My love for writing was always by my side during this entire journey and I crossed a milestone last November by launching my debut book titled Something Called Life. Short stories, I believe, possess the ability of delivering a strong message in few words. With an intention to deliver a message about love, life and relationships through each one of my stories, I have written a collection of few such stories. My stories talk about falling relationships, broken trust, narrow mindsets; but they also talk about the much needed change, about those extreme steps which are sometimes needed to be taken in order to bring everything back to place and also to set things right.
The mother who has to choose between her to-be-born daughter and her husband, the father who is yearning for his son to return to his homeland, the wife who feels her husband does not love her anymore; all the characters are struggling to put together their fallen pieces of life. Will they succumb to their hardships or will they rise and fight back to change things around them, is what unfolds in the various stories.
With my entrepreneurial and writing journey, I wish to touch the lives of many and create a difference which can make them happier and wiser!
