Mangi Devi is settled in Udasar, Rajasthan. The environment in which she lives is very restrictive. She is 36 years old. She has been struggling for the past many years. The financial condition was not good at her father’s place. Mangi Devi got married at a young age but even after her marriage, the financial condition did not improve. So, to support her family she wanted to work.
She decided to join the training worksop and develop her skills in the traditional art form of appliqué. She not only changed her children’s life but also changed lives of many women around her.
With the smart phone given to Mangi Devi through Project Jagriti, she looks forward to continuing her journey of being an agent of change and supporting herself and her family by using the smart phone to further her work and expand her network.
